Useful Blogging Tool Pingates is a useful tool that I found that I use whenever I update a blog, or, for that matter, anything with an RSS feed. Simply enter the feed name and URL into the relevant boxes, click "Send Ping", and a whole bunch of sites are pinged automatically. Not every ping works, but I've sometimes had pages added to Google within the hour from doing this. And it's free.
